About AceOar
A small studio for systems where mistakes are expensive
AceOar Technologies is a software architecture and engineering studio in Toronto. We work with companies building AI agents, financial and identity systems, and SaaS platforms, where getting the architecture wrong costs real money, customer trust or regulatory standing.
We’re deliberately small. Every engagement is led by our principal architect, who does the architecture and core engineering personally.
Arshad has spent more than 20 years designing and building systems where mistakes are expensive: bank lending platforms, a national digital identity network, payments SaaS, healthcare integrations and, most recently, the environments used to train and evaluate AI agents. He leads every AceOar engagement personally.

RL environments and agent training for frontier-model work, LLM applications on Amazon Bedrock, a mortgage processing platform for a top Canadian bank, and AceOar’s own SaaS products.

SecureKey Technologies (Verified.Me)
Federated digital identity for Tier-1 banks and government: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, mTLS and document verification. Led an identity-network proof of concept in Australia.

Paymentus
Led a team of eight on an omni-channel bill-payment SaaS platform, custom client integrations and a move from monolith to microservices.

PointClickCare
Redesigned the core integration engine exchanging medical records with hundreds of external vendors, pharmacies and clinics.

Led development of high-availability enterprise Java systems and ran build, deployment and DevOps.
Earlier career: payroll, property and restaurant management, medical and embedded systems.

The company
Ace|Oar Technologies, Inc. is incorporated in Ontario, Canada, and was co-founded by Arshad Ali and Pamela Islam. Alongside client work we build and run our own SaaS products, which keeps our architecture advice grounded in systems we operate ourselves.
